IRI-API
API to perform common actions at AmS facilities and sites
Purpose & Use Case
The Integrated Research Infrastructure (IRI) API facilitates automated workflows across all AmSC sites.
It enables AmSC services (and users) to use a common API to interact with all AmSC IP sites, including HPC facilities, DOE lab resources and CSPs.
Functionality
The IRI API originated from the IRI program, and initial scoping and architecture was performed as part of the IRI Interfaces Technical Subcommittee.
Endpoints include:
- resource status
- job management
- local file management
- allocation information
- resource orchestration
- WAN management
Current Status
Service available to AmSC Early Users, and individual facility users (depending on whether the facility has released access publicly).
